The Stone of the Weka
Discover the unique beauty of Totoweka Pounamu, a rare variety of New Zealand Pounamu named for the streaks of red that mirror the plumage of the native Weka bird. This specific piece features a stunning olive-green base with deep, earthy inclusions that come alive when held to the light.
It features intricate Niho (Shark Tooth) knotting, a traditional-inspired macramé style that symbolizes strength, resilience, and protection. Every knot has been tied by hand right here in our Palmwoods studio, ensuring that no two pieces are ever identical.
Pounamu piece measures approximately 3cm
