This substantial 9cm Kuru (Drop Pendant) is a masterfully hand-carved piece featuring premium Inanga Pounamu. Named for the native freshwater minnow, Inanga is one of the most traditionally revered varieties of New Zealand Greenstone, known for its soft, pearly-grey hues and "cloud-like" translucency.
This particular taonga showcases the classic Inanga characteristics: a cool, silvery-green base accented by deep, mossy inclusions that seem to "bloom" within the stone when held to the light. Its length allows for a beautiful gradient of color, shifting from a milky translucence at the top to a rich, grounded depth at the base.
