This beautiful Hei Tiki is hand-carved from natural beef bone and inlaid with vibrant pāua shell eyes. Each piece is individually crafted, making every carving one of a kind with its own character and detail.
In Māori tradition, the Hei Tiki is a treasured symbol of ancestry and family, often passed down through generations. It represents the first human, Tiki, and is believed to carry strength, protection, and connection to those who came before.
Comes on a hand-plaited adjustable black cord necklace and presented in a black keepsake box.
