Carved with precision and deep respect from a raw block to a finished taonga, this striking Toki pendant is a powerful symbol of strength, control, and determination. This exceptional piece is crafted from genuine, ethically sourced Aotearoa Pounamu (New Zealand Greenstone), showcasing the highly prized and rare Totoweka variety.
Measuring approximately 4cm x 2.5cm, the stone features a beautiful, soft grey-green body in natural light. Look closely at the dark character inclusions, and you will discover the unique signature of Totoweka—subtle, deep purplish-red tones running quietly through the flecks, traditionally likened to the "blood of the weka" (the native woodhen). When held to the light, the Toki reveals its breathtaking, semi-translucent, pale olive glow.
The pendant is bound with a traditional, heavy black micro-cord cross-lash that emphasizes its clean, strong geometric lines. Suspended from a premium, durable braided black cord, this one-of-a-kind treasure is designed to be worn close to the heart for generations.
